Fuchsite Turtle, Carved in India

From India, this listing is for a turtle carved from fuchsite. This little turtle, which is deep, saturated green, was carved in India by a small cottage business, it was not mass produced. Fuchsite is green muscovite (mica) and is sometimes called chrome mica.
