Quartz (Himalayan) Frog, Carved in India

This listing is for a Himalayan quartz frog, carved by a small cottage business in India, this frog is not mass produced. It's very clear while still having an interesting veil of microcline quartz. This lovely little frog carving has that 'glow from within' quality Himalayan quartz is known for.

The frog's symbolism is linked to womb, waters, fertility and developing life. There is evidence through artifacts found dating back to 6000 B.C.E. suggesting the notion of a frog goddess is extremely ancient.
