Amethyst Flower Quartz from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil

This listing is for a lovely and sculptural 2-pound amethyst "flower" from the famous Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil location. The "flowers" are composed of tightly intergrown, very glassy and lustrous, terminated and very pretty blueish to blush-purple crystals. The flower formations cover the top surface of a thick, pie shaped specimen, the blue is most evident along the edges and the rest is purple.
