The calcite crystals are gemmy and translucent, the intense growth habit of the fluorite is the star of this show, although the crown of calcite crystals is spectacular. This specimen has a deeper concentration of color deep within and a UV light will bring out more of the blue as fluorite is UV reactive. With or without light, this beauty is spectacular - even so, light base included.
