From India, this listing is for a Himalayan quartz phurba, also carved in India. This beautifully and intricately carved phurba is very clear. There is some controversy from scholars about the meaning of this tool, what is certain is it was a tool associated with pegging a mandala and is associated with the meditational deity Vajrakilaya. Due to the shape, design and material this phurba could be used in mediation, mandala or grid creation and the clearing and restoration of the sublime energetic systems.

A purba (Tibetan: phur ba. Sanskrit: kila) is a three-edged peg originating with Indian Tantric Buddhism related to ritual mandala construction. The 'kila' has sometimes been described in the West as a dagger with three blades.

The principal deity associated with the 'kila' purba is Vajrakila (Vajrakilaya). These purbas generally have three faces at the top and are crowned with a half vajra. The phurba embodies the essence of transformative power.

The moment of change is the only poem. -Adrienne Rich

Quartz can be used to clear, balance, and align the spiritual, emotional and physical body. What needs to be cleared, what needs to go? Clear blockages, cords and all sublime energetic systems. Use quartz to clear your space and yourself, keeping the vibration high. 'There are two kinds of light', said author James Thurber, 'the glow that illuminates and the glare that obscures'. Quartz is the glow that illuminates.
